Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sorva Studios ("Sorva Studios," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit sorvastudios.com (the "Site") or contact us. By using the Site or submitting information through it, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who We Are

Sorva Studios is a remote-first website design studio that builds marketing and e-commerce websites for businesses. We serve clients globally and operate primarily online.

For any privacy question, contact us at [email protected] or (804) 787-0231.

2. Information We Collect

We aim to collect only what we need. The information we collect falls into a few categories:

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the name, email address, project type, and message you provide. If you email or call us, we receive whatever information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This is used for security, performance, and abuse prevention.

Analytics information. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure our advertising (including Google Ads). GA4 sets cookies and similar identifiers and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you reached the Site. See “Cookies and Tracking” below.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and project work;
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • Measure and improve our marketing and advertising (via Google Analytics);
  • Communicate with you about your project or our services; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Cookies and Tracking

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web-analytics service provided by Google. GA4 sets cookies and similar identifiers to collect usage data — such as pages viewed, approximate location (from your IP address), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the Site — so we can understand how the Site is used and measure the performance of our advertising, including Google Ads campaigns. Google processes this data on our behalf; see Google’s privacy policy and “How Google uses information from sites that use our services” for details.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can control or clear cookies through your browser settings. We do not use cross-context behavioral advertising cookies.

We also use strictly necessary, functional storage required for the Site to operate. Our web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those font files.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run our business, and only with service providers bound to protect it:

  • Hosting and content delivery (e.g., Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare);
  • Email delivery (e.g., Amazon Simple Email Service) to send and receive messages related to your inquiry;
  • Analytics and ad measurement (Google Analytics 4), to understand Site usage and measure our advertising;
  • Web fonts (Google Fonts), as described above.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We never sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We keep contact and project information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — generally for the duration of our communications and any resulting project, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, legal, and tax purposes. You may ask us to delete your information as described below.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of certain U.S. states (such as California) and individuals in the EEA/UK may have additional rights under applicable laws like the CCPA/CPRA and GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. International Visitors

We operate from the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required by law. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
